How to Bind Your Quilt
In this class, students will learn how to bind a quilt. We will teach you the different methods involved in hand-sewing vs. machine sewing on your binding.
In this three-hour class students will learn:
1) how to calculate fabric yardage needed for your binding
2) how to cut and prepare your binding
3) attaching the binding to quilt
4) finishing binding, both by hand and machine.
Students will be provided with small quilt sandwiches and binding fabric to practice on during class. You’ll leave with the knowledge needed to bind your quilts at home.
